William Marion Runyan

American composer and music publisher who wrote over 100 hymn melodies and gospel songs, many set to texts by prominent lyricists of his era. He served as music editor for the Christian and Missionary Alliance and composed in a singable, accessible style that appealed to revival and missionary movements. His works remain popular in evangelical and Holiness church traditions.
