Samuel John Stone

English Anglican clergyman and hymn writer best known for his hymn "The Church's One Foundation" (1866), which remains one of the most widely sung hymns in Protestant worship. Stone served as vicar of All Saints' Church, Walsall, and contributed numerous hymns to Victorian hymnals, reflecting his commitment to ecclesiastical poetry.
