Ovid Young

American Seventh-day Adventist hymn composer and musician. Young composed numerous hymn melodies appearing in Adventist hymnals and contributed to the modernization of Adventist congregational singing in the late 20th century. His work reflected contemporary harmonic practices while maintaining traditional hymnic structure.
