Melchior Teschner

German Lutheran composer and pastor best known for composing the melody "O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden" ("O Sacred Head Now Wounded"), one of the most significant Passion hymn tunes in Christian hymnody, first published in his 1613 hymnal.
