Henry Walford Davies

Welsh composer and organist who served as organist at Aberystwyth and later at St. George's Chapel, Windsor. He composed numerous hymn tunes and sacred works, and was knighted for his contributions to British music. Davies was influential in music education and composed the famous hymn tune "God Be With You" and other widely-used melodies.
