Frederick M. Lehman

American hymn writer and composer of German heritage who wrote both music and lyrics for numerous evangelical hymns. He is best known for 'The Love of God,' a popular hymn emphasizing God's infinite love. Lehman's contributions were particularly influential in early 20th-century American evangelical and Pentecostal worship.
