Carl Boberg

Swedish Pietist pastor and hymn writer who composed 'O Store Gud' (O Mighty God) in 1885, one of the most widely translated hymns in Christian history. His melodic and lyrical gifts produced approximately 96 hymns that emphasized personal devotion and God's majesty in creation. Boberg's work became foundational to Scandinavian and international Protestant hymnody.
