Arthur Cleveland Coxe

American Episcopal bishop and prolific hymn lyricist who wrote over 60 hymn texts, including "Saviour, Sprinkle Many Nations." His scholarly and theological hymns were widely published in Episcopal and other Anglican hymnals. He combined ecclesiastical authority with poetic skill, making significant contributions to American Anglican hymnody.
